CALL TO ORDER:  The meeting called to order at 5:32,  Lady Bird Club House.

PRESENT:  Jim Penn, Leonard Bentch, Ron Moerbe, Kelly Gonyea, Stacy Colvin, Jason Hensley, Eric Zey, Chris Meade.

GUESTS:  Houston Haley, Clay Sears, Tracy Staats, Robert McCall.

MINUTES:  The minutes of the January meeting were accepted as submitted.  There was no meeting held in February. 

FINANCES:  Kelly reported a balance of $187,409.17 as of March 1.  Full financial statements were accepted as submitted electronically.

SOCIAL MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS:

Cristina Meade has done an excellent job of maintaining our social media/public relations presence for several years.  Unfortunately for us, she is no longer able to provide this service.

Two FHS journalism students (Anna Terry, Ella Stehling) have been hired to produce content and maintain the website site and submit news articles.  Initial wage is $15/ hr, but is flexible depending on work performed.

STRATEGIC OPERATION PLAN

            Skills:  Bruce, Chris

                        Clinics begin June 2 at Boot Ranch

                        US Kids Pathway has approximately 30 juniors involved

                        FES:  no report

            Competition:  Jason

            UIL:  Stacy, Kelly, Bruce

                        FISD:  need to formalize the relationship between Jr. Golf Foundation and FISD

                                    Stacy, Jim will meet with FHS AD and Business Manager

                        FMS and FHS golf schedules are published, Kelly will distribute

                        Maintain relationship with Harper, Ambleside, Heritage

            Scholarships:  Eric

                        Four scholarships @ $2500

                        Selection Committee organized and ready to review completed applications late March

                        Recipients and families invited to Summer Event on May 31

                        Request written update from last year’s recipients on college experience
