SUPPORTING AND TEACHING THE GAME OF GOLF
The Junior Golf Foundation of Fredericksburg is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit tax-exempt volunteer organization established to introduce and encourage golf as a lifetime sport to all juniors in the Fredericksburg, Texas area. The Foundation provides Short Golf equipment and games for local primary and elementary schools to implement golf as part of the regular P.E. curriculum. The Foundation also provides clinics led by PGA Professionals who instruct juniors on golf mechanics, strategy and rules. Juniors who wish to become more proficient may participate on teams in supervised competition throughout the Hill Country. In addition, juniors can advance their golf skills and knowledge by participating in the US Kids Pathway Program led by PGA professionals. To further incent girls and boys to play competitive golf, we established a college scholarship program for high school graduates. We believe that our volunteering efforts and your donations are doing good in the community!
