CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 5:33 PM, Lady Bird Club House.

PRESENT: Jim Penn, Bruce Reeh, Ron Moerbe, Chris Meade, Adam Starr, Leonard Bentch, Keri and Jason Hensley, Stacy Colvin, and Eric Zey.

MINUTES: The minutes of the September 14 meeting were approved as electronically transmitted. Motion made by Bruce and Jim.

FINANCIALS:

Balance brought forward August 31, 2022 $167,838.45

Deposits $ 32,646.18

Total Funds September 30, 2022 $200,484.63

Use of funds

Drive, chip and putt $494.46

Tournament expenses $1,650.00

Clinics $562.50

Hill Country Tournaments $567.00

Total use of funds $ 3,273.96

Checkbook balance September 30,2022 $197,210.67

JUNIOR GOLF CLINCS: Chris

Clinics: To be held at Lady Bird on Saturday and at Boot Ranch next Saturday at 11 am.

The clinics will continue depending on weather.

Equipment: Old clubs have aged out. Replacement new clubs will cost $280-340 a set.

Bruce made a motion to approve purchases NTE $5,000 and Stacy seconded it. It passed without further discussion.

FHS: Chris

FHS golf coach request new rain suits and pull over shirts.

Jim moved we approve $7,500 for these items and Keri seconded. Approved.

FHS golf team equipment including range finders was approved for $900 by motion by Adam and seconded by Eric. Approved.

PROJECTS:

Conversation with FHS AD Wendy Dietrich and others suggests there is no decision at this time concerning a dedicated FHS golf coach.

Ron suggested we build a shade covering over the artificial turf hitting area portion of the driving range. Chris and Jim pointed out that the shade area could not be exclusively available only for junior golf use since Lady Bird is a public golf course. No further action.

Future projects and expenditures: Stacy moved and Jim seconded motion to develop a Strategic Operation Plan (SOP) for this and each year rather than making ad hoc decisions about projects. Approved.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Leonard

The Bylaws stipulates that members are elected for three-year terms and may serve two consecutive terms. A timeline of current members tenure will be presented at the next meeting.

New board members are elected at the June General Membership meeting each year.
