CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 5:35, Lady Bird Club House.

PRESENT: Jason Hensley, Keri Hensley, Bruce Reeh, Leonard Bentch, Ron Moerbe,

Eric Zey, Adam Starr, Chris Meade.

MINUTES: Minutes approved as electronically transmitted.

FINANCIAL: No Report available. Adam will submit electronically

ELECTION: Jason and Keri Hensley were elected to the Board of Directors by acclamation.

CLINICS: Chris said we have tentatively scheduled the first at Boot Ranch on May 13 then on

May 21 and June 16 at Lady Bird. Further sessions will be scheduled depending on participation.

SCHOLARSHIP: Eric presented the list of scholarship recipients as selected by the Scholarship

Selection Committee (Marc Williams, Annette Luckas and Peter Schandua) who used the Forced

Choice system as outlined in the Scholarship Charter. There were six excellent candidates from

four Gillespie County high schools.

Eric moved to expand the number of scholarship recipients to 4 this year seconded by Bruce.

The motion carried unanimously.

Eric will notify the school counselors and the students.

A copy of the Forced Choice rating form is attached.

NEW BUSINESS: General discussion concerning a permanent instruction facility at Lady Bird ensued.

There is no agreement on what would be the most useful (covered hitting area, building with hitting

bays and launch monitor, practice green, etc.). The consensus is to await the naming of a full-time

golf coach at FHS to better coordinate the program with current and potential facilities.
